Hello, I’m Patricia

A realist, a lover of simple living, and a believer in mindful eating. At this stage of life, I’ve embraced the beauty of imperfection—whether it’s savoring a cup of coffee with a good book, laughing at life’s chaos, or finally making peace with the fact that I don’t need double eyelids or extra inches to be happy.

New Bloggy Cat (NBC) is my little corner of the internet—a mixed bag of life’s meaningful bits: quotes, lessons, tributes, anecdotes, jokes, and delicious recipes. Think of it as a scrapbook of wisdom and warmth, curated mostly for my two incredible daughters (but you’re welcome to peek inside too!).

Life in Our Perfectly Imperfect Home

My days are anything but picture-perfect. With two strong-willed daughters, and our furry (and feathery) housemates, there’s never a dull moment.

My 19-year-old is my artsy, introspective soul—a bass guitarist who thrives in solitude, gets lost in her sketchbook, and has an impeccable taste in rock music (MCR, Nirvana, and The Cure fan, of course).

And an intricate pen drawing—proof that her creativity knows no bounds!.

My 14-year-old is a burst of energy—a budding YouTuber, chef, and fashionista who can whip up kimchi fried rice or fluffy pancakes like a pro.

And then there’s Prince, our endlessly cheerful Belgian Malinois. He shares the house with the unforgettable memory of Kiwi, the budgie who used to belt out rock songs like he was fronting his own band. Kiwi’s incredible spirit flew on in October 2025, but his song is forever in our hearts. (And yes, he absolutely was my favorite child. Don’t tell the others.)

Why I Write

Life isn’t always tidy. Some days are messy, loud, and overwhelming—but they’re also rich with love, laughter, and tiny miracles. This blog is my way of celebrating that reality: the highs, the lows, and the simple joys in between.
