Following up from my last post The Future~ Standing as One with Nature today a success story from Germany over stopping some open cast mining for fossil fuels.. All be it will be temporary.

 While I admire Germany for a program for phasing out its nuclear plants after the Fukushima nuclear disaster by 2022. Germany has a good record for renewable energy and is investing more in solar and wind .  But during this transition they are continuing cutting great swathes of land in open mining for fossil fuels using Brown Coal the dirtiest form of fossil fuel,..
