One of my favorite portions of the book, “The story of the Trapp Family Singers” (which Sound of Music was based on) was her beautiful recounting of the season of Lent, and all things that occur prior to Easter Sunday –
“You would have to be unconscious, should your heart not feel at least some happiness of the victory of light over darkness – life over death.”
