The significance of the cherry blossom tree in
Japanese culture goes back hundreds of years.
In their country, the cherry blossom represents
the fragility and the beauty of life.
It’s a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly
beautiful but that it is also tragically short.

  1. Hi Pat, have a great day. Here it is grey and mildish. We had snow at the weekend but it didn’t stay as the temperature rose above freezing soon after. I guess we still have at least a couple of months before cherry blossoms re-appear. However the snowdrops are just starting to flower x

    • Hi Isabelle, it’s been kind of cloudy here the past 2 weeks. But today it’s quite sunny. I love cherry blossom but I don’t think I can grow it here though. Have a great week, my friend. ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ)
