That was a very suitable quote for me last week as I struggled to process the horrors of the Lindt Cafe Siege, the massacre in Pakistan and a mother killing her 7 children and her niece in Cairns. I wasn’t sure how to approach Christmas after that but after attending a frien’d s christmas party, going to Church Christmas Eve and family Christmas day that the light returned and we had a wonderful Christmas while also thinking about those who have lost it all.
