This little plate will always have a special place in my heart. It was a gift from an Aussie friend, and it quickly became Kiwi’s daily carrot plate. Somehow, he only loved Aussie carrots — nothing else would do! 😅

It has been days since our beloved budgie, Kiwi, left us on 15 October—but somehow, traces of him still linger in the most unexpected places.
And today, while sweeping the floor, I found another tiny feather… and then a bigger one.
Some might say it’s just coincidence. But to us, these feathers feel like love notes. Quiet reminders from a little soul who brought so much joy into our home. Maybe Kiwi is reminding us that he’s okay. Or maybe he just wants to say, “I’m still here. Just in a different way.”
Whatever it is, Kiwi was so loved. And love always leaves traces 💕
