Joke of the day – The parking incident

The old gent was backing his Rolls into the last available parking space when a zippy red sports car whipped in behind him to take the spot. The young man jumped out and said, “Sorry Pops, but you’ve got to be young and smart to do that.”

The old man ignored the remark and kept reversing until the Rolls had crunched the sports car into a crumpled heap. “Sorry son, you’ve got to be old and rich to do that!”

Reminiscent of the scene from “Fried Green Tomatoes” – two young gals steal the parking spot the heroine was getting ready to pull into, saying, “We’re younger and faster” After the heroine pushed their car out of the spot using her big, luxury sedan as a battering ram, she said to the shocked, screaming youngsters, “Face girls, I’m older and I have more insurance.”
AND – here’s the conversation between her husband and her, later:
“Honey, what I can’t understand is how you could accidentally hit a car 7 times.”
“Oh, Ed, it’s not that big a deal….”
