Relax…
Take a deep breath
and imagine
you’re blowing all your
fears into the red balloons,
worries into the green balloons,
shattered dreams into the blue balloons,
and disappointments into the yellow balloons.
Then tie them all up.
Count to three
and let them go!
Take a moment and watch
these colourful balloons fly away.
Soon the heaviness in your heart
will be lifted.
And you will be ready to move on.
Remember that life
does not have to be purrfect
to be beautiful!

“Mom said to put all my sadness in these balloons and let them fly away.”
“If you feel lost, disappointed,
hesitant, or weak,
return to yourself,
to who you are,
here and now and
when you get there,
you will discover yourself,
like a lotus flower in full bloom,
even in a muddy pond,
beautiful and strong.

“We all have brokenness in our lives. We all have moments of failure and hurt and sorrow. That’s one of the few things that pulls all human beings together.”
