This little plate will always have a special place in my heart. It was a gift from an Aussie friend, and it quickly became Kiwi’s daily carrot plate. Somehow, he only loved Aussie carrots β nothing else would do! π
Maybe he had a taste for the finer things in life.
Every time I see this plate, I can almost picture him happily nibbling away.
It’s funny how ordinary things – like a plate or a carrot β can hold so many memories. They remind me that love leaves traces everywhere, even in the simplest moments. ποΈ π

It has been days since our beloved budgie, Kiwi, left us on 15 Octoberβbut somehow, traces of him still linger in the most unexpected places.
And today, while sweeping the floor, I found another tiny feather⦠and then a bigger one.
Some might say itβs just coincidence. But to us, these feathers feel like love notes. Quiet reminders from a little soul who brought so much joy into our home. Maybe Kiwi is reminding us that heβs okay. Or maybe he just wants to say, βIβm still here. Just in a different way.β
Whatever it is, Kiwi was so loved. And love always leaves traces π
