WordPress Family Award
It always warms my heart when I receive a blog award. So, I’m truly blessed and humbled to have been chosen to receive the “WordPress Family Award” from a wonderful bloggy-friend at http://ballybin.wordpress.com
I have been inspired by Tamrah’s blog and I really admire her honesty and courage in sharing her innermost thoughts on her life journey.
This is brand new award from Shaun @ http://prayingforoneday.wordpress.com “I am part of the WordPress Family Award”. Anyone can take this award any time and pass it on to ten others!
Award Description:
“This is an award for everyone who is part of the “Word Press Family” I start this award on the basis that the WordPress family has taken me in, and showed me love and a caring side only WordPress can. The way people take a second to be nice, to answer a question and not make things a competition amazes me here. I know I have been given many awards, but I wanted to leave my own legacy on here by creating my own award, as many have done before. This represents “Family” we never meet, but are there for us as family. It is my honour to start this award.” from Shaun @ http://prayingforoneday.wordpress.com/
Rules:
1. Display the award logo on your blog.
2. Link back to the person who nominated you.
3. Nominate 10 others you see as having an impact on your wordpress experience and family
4. Let your 10 Family members know you have awarded them
5. That is it. Just please pick 10 people that have taken you as a friend, and spread the love.

Household chores

“It’s all in the attitude – housework is exercise. Slim your way to a clean home!” – Linda Solegato
When it comes to household chores, whatever I find most difficult to do, I’ll take it on first. I find it best to tackle tougher chores early in the day when my energy and motivation are both at peak levels. By getting the tough task out of the way, it gives me the satisfaction and momentum to the rest of my day.
You may think you would be happiest with no chores at all. Perhaps you’re right, but that would not be the case for most people. Work and the satisfaction it brings seem to be a key ingredient in human happiness quotient.
Versatile blogger
Sometime late November last year, I was nominated for the Beautiful Blogger and Very Inspiring Blog awards approximately two weeks after I started this blog. I was excited but at that time I really had no idea what it was all about, being a new and not so tech-savvy blogger.
It was a pleasant surprise to receive the nomination of the Versatile Blogger Award from the blogger of the beautiful blog Letters to Chace & Harper. Thank you for the nomination. I’m truly grateful and glad to know others have been inspired by my blog.
So, here’s the fun part:
1) Add The Versatile Blogger award photo on a blog post
2) Thank the person (or animal) who presented you with the award and link back to him or her in your post
3) Share seven things about yourself
4) Pass the award along to 15 favorite bloggers. Contact the chosen bloggers to let them know about the award.
7 things about myself:
1. I’m left-handed.
2. I am inspired by the life-lessons in the book, Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom.
3. I love to cook and bake for my family I like trying out new recipes from different cuisine – Western, Asian & Mediterranean.
4. I’m afraid of frogs. I’ll never kiss a frog 🙂
5. I love coffee and chocolate.
6. My Rottweiler’s name is Monster.
7. I enjoy watching Spongebob with my daughters. Love the humor and it helps keep me sane.

Stop and smell the flowers
Flowers provide a splash of fresh and vibrant energy to brighten the day and remind us of the beauty God has placed in the world
Buy yourself flowers that are especially beautiful to you. Put them in your home or working space, where you will see them easily. Nothing brightens a room like a bouquet of fresh flowers.
Every time you look at them, let them remind you of how colorful your future is going to be, how fresh your thoughts are and how sweet the smell of the universe can be.
“Lovely flowers are the smiles of God’s goodness.” – William Wilberforce
